volunteer with us
We are so grateful you are interested in joining our volunteer team!
Our roles include adoption coordinators, marketing/fundraising committee members, and pet pantry coordinators at this time
adoption coordinator
Scarlett’s Plan is supported by a dedicated team of compassionate volunteers located throughout the United States. Our adoption process is entirely virtual, meaning you can make a meaningful impact right from home.
As a volunteer, you'll help guide one adoption at a time—from writing the adoptable pet’s profile to interviewing potential adopters and supporting the pet’s current family throughout the rehoming journey. While every adoption is different, the full process typically takes about 10–12 hours over the course of 2–4 weeks.
This is a flexible, rewarding role for anyone 18 years or older who wants to make a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.
pet pantry coordinator
Scarlett’s Plan Pet Pantry volunteers play a vital role in helping us support seniors by ensuring their beloved pets continue to receive the food they need.
In this virtual volunteer role, you'll connect directly with senior applicants, confirm their pet's dietary needs, and place a pet food order through our Amazon account. You'll also follow up to make sure the delivery arrives safely.
Volunteers are typically assigned a few seniors at a time, and each request takes about an hour to complete from start to finish.
If you're detail-oriented, compassionate, and want to make a direct impact in someone’s life, this is a meaningful way to help right from your home..
marketing and fundraising committee
The Marketing & Fundraising Committee at Scarlett’s Plan meets every two months to brainstorm new ideas, review current strategies, and find creative ways to grow our reach and support. There’s no formal commitment—members are welcome to join meetings whenever they’re available to contribute ideas and be part of the conversation.
If you're passionate about storytelling, social media, branding, or fundraising, and want to support a mission that helps pets and their people you’d be a great fit.
To join, please email your resume to Layla Carswell at scarlettsplanusa@gmail.com with the subject line: "Marketing and Fundraising Committee"
